ORKA Production is a new partner and award sponsor of Kids Kino Industry

We are happy to announce that ORKA Production from Warsaw has joined Kids Kino Industry this year as a partner and sponsor.

The filmmakers pitching their projects as part of Kids Kino Industry will compete for awards granted by ORKA Production:

  • PLN 10,000 for the development of one project at ORKA Production;
  • PLN 15,000 for a supporting service of ORKA Production in fundraising for co-production of a project with Poland.

ORKA Production is one of the largest production and postproductions studios in Poland, specialising in VFX, all stages of visual postproduction, and on-set supervision for feature films and series. They have co-created more than 100 features, both in Poland and in other countries. One of their latest co-productions is Małgorzata Szumowska’s recent film, Infinite Storm, which premiered in the US in April this year.

ORKA Production has also co-produced and created special effects for Black Mill, a film by Mariusz Palej, which was presented at Kids Kino Industry in 2019. It was seen by nearly 300 thousand people at Polish cinemas. The film is also available on HBO Max.

The other award sponsors at Kids Kino Industry are: Audiovisual Technology Center in Wrocław, m:brane, and CEE Animation.

Submit your project for pitching at Kids Kino Industry

The call for projects for Kids Kino Industry is open until 31st of May.

This year, you can submit films in two categories:

IN DEVELOPMENT

– projects in the development stage,
– projects with a treatment or screenplay,
– projects with a producer on board,
– projects with a partly confirmed budget;

WORK IN PROGRESS

– projects at a more advanced stage (in production or postproduction),
– projects that are still looking for gap financing, co-producers, distributors, broadcasters, or sales agents.
