Meet the team behind one of the first Danish Netflix genre originals The Rain and dive into their inspiring creative process.

In this masterclass, the creators of the successful thriller The Rain will share with you the details of their enriching collaboration and will analyse step by step the first episode. They will also shed light on how to fuse suspense and tense expectation in order to create pulse-pounding action.

Christian Potalivo

Producer, Tall & Small (Denmark)

Christian Potalivo graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 2007. He has worked at M&M Productions and Miso Film before founding Tall and Small with Jannik Tai Mosholt in 2020.

Christian has produced a great number of feature films and tv-series, including the Dicte series, the Iqbal trilogy, Long Story Short and Heavy Load. In 2009 Christians short film The Pig was nominated for an Oscar and the year after his short film The New Tenants won the prestigious award.
Christian is producer and co-creator of the first Scandinavian Netflix Original series The Rain.

Furthermore, Christian has been appointed as `Producer on the move´ at Cannes Film Festival in 2009. Christian Potalivo is a voting member of The European Film Academy and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Jannik Tai Mosholt

Writer, Tall & Small (Denmark)

Jannik Tai Mosholt graduated as a screenwriter from the National Film School of Denmark in 2005. Since then he has worked on multiple tv-series and feature films, and in 2020 he founded Tall and Small with Christian.

Jannik has written the script for the youth films The War Game, Hold Me Tight and You & Me Forever, and the animated international festival darlings Beyond Beyond and The Great Bear. Furthermore, he was the main writer on the 4th season of the popular tv-series Rita and episode writer on the international success Borgen and the praised tv-series Follow the Money.

Together with his two co-creators Jannik has created and is main writer on the first Scandinavian Netflix Original series The Rain.

Cyprian Marchewka

Development & Creative Producer, Mediabrigade (Poland)

Cyprian Marchewka is a young, creative producer of Poland’s first, very well received, Netflix teen and young adult genre TV series Open Your Eyes. His work in progress is a children’s fantasy/adventure feature film Kaytek the Wizard. With a degree in communication design and his long-term experience in child care and education, his passion and goal is to simply make young minds’ dreams come to life on the screen.
