Children’s channel executives present their current commissioned programmes and talk with a Polish independent producer Zosia Jaroszuk about their mission to meet the demands of younger audiences, the opportunities for collaboration, and the new flexibilities in their commissioning policies for innovative programmes that embrace new talents and new creative voices.

Telidja Klaï

Content Manager, VRT-Ketnet (Belgium)

As a PHD in Clinical and Developmental Psychology, Telidja is responsible for 360° programming strategy and target strategies at Ketnet the dedicated children’s channel of the public broadcaster VRT in Belgium. The main thrust of her activities in this field is the development of children and Ketnet’s vision and values. Besides her strategical work, Telidja is also responsible for programme acquisitions and co-productions animation for Ketnet. She is in charge of the selection, acquisition, adaptation and programming of international children’s programmes and she follows up on animation co-productions with Flemish animation studios and producers.

Joakim Vedeler

Head of Strategy, NRK Super (Norway)

Joakim Vedeler works with commissioning, analyzing the market and developing content strategy to meet the needs of Norwegian children. He is a former director and producer of several shows winning awards such as Emmy Kids, Prix Jeunesse and KidScreen.

Zosia Jaroszuk

Independent producer (Poland)

Zofia Jaroszuk is a graduate of film and culture management studies at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Between 2015 and 2022, she collaborated with Animoon, where she performed the duties of a supervising and creative producer and worked on short, series, and feature animated projects, covering tasks which spread across the development and distribution stages. In 2019, she was appointed as a Polish Film Institute expert. She is an EAVE Marketing workshop graduate.
