Through a qualitative and anthropological approach, Rikke Flodin from Publikum.io will share methods, research techniques, and questions aimed at strengthening the audience awareness process from early script development to launch in film projects targeted at children and youth. In individual and group exercises, the participants are invited to question their knowledge and curiosity on the audience group while sharing reflections, experiences, and learnings from working with the children and youth audiences.
Who is it for: creative producers, showrunners interested in audience insights approaches. The participants who are currently working on a project for a young TA will benefit most from this workshop.

Rikke Flodin is Senior Consultant working with audience insights at PUBLIKUM.io, a Danish-based tool for audience awareness. She has worked with more than 20 film projects in Denmark, Norway, and the Netherlands, helping provide filmmakers with audience awareness in the shape of deep, human insights. Within the last few years, Rikke has particularly specialised in how to reach the children and youth audience groups using digital tools and anthropological methods to facilitate the conversations with the young audience. Rikke holds a Master’s degree in anthropology from the University of Copenhagen.
