LOGLINE


The leader of a street dance crew recruits a younger talent who surpasses her both on and off stage.

SYNOPSIS


Lola, the leader of a street dance crew, recruits Allison, a younger dance prodigy, in order to win an all-important dance competition together. She gets more than she bargained for when the electrifying Allison challenges her leadership of the crew and surpasses her both on and off stage. In the end, Lola has to learn to step back and help others shine.

Mariëlle Dazler

Producer

Mariëlle Dazler focuses on developing powerful content for the national children’s network Ketnet. Her portfolio includes popular game shows Nighthawks and Scars of Life (both winners of iEmmy Awards) and the very first show on the subject of sexual education The Doctor Bea Show. Currently, she is working on several live-action and non-fiction shows for kids.

Charlotte De Cort

Scriptwriter

Charlotte De Cort is a Brussels-based creative writer and film director. She made two short documentaries about dancers: Bgirl Badli (2022, Brussels Short Film Festival) and Dear Angels (2019, Kortfilmfestival Leuven). She is currently co-writing a series for the national television Season of Sex and developing her first fiction short Ungodly.
