Alice (12) is the best gamer in the world, but her hardest battle is yet to be won.
SYNOPSIS
Alice, aged 12, has just moved to a new town. She has a big secret. Alice is great at playing computer games… But no one knows about this. Her new classmates bully and laugh at her. But Alice pretends she doesn’t care – after all, the gaming world is so much better than the real life! When Alice’s mother stumbles across her secret, Alice is plunged into the world of a strange and mysterious game. She must gather a group of young gamers to overthrow the Black Queen. Will Alice be able to win the game and find true friendship that will help her appreciate the beauties of the real world?

Julietta Sichel is a Czech film producer and a former festival programmer. She started producing films in 2010, after founding 8Heads Productions. Her current focus are high quality films for children and youth. One of her recent titles is a teenage drama The Pack (2020), internationally represented by LevelK, which was presented at numerous festivals and sold to several territories.
Hana Cielová
Scriptwriter
Hana Cielová studied scriptwriting at FAMU. She is a very experienced scriptwriter working for both film and TV. Her credits include several highly popular Czech and Slovak TV series. The feature film Ženská na vrcholu / Woman at the Peak (2019, dir. Lenka Kny) based on her screenplay, reached more than 200,000 cinema viewers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and was bought by Netflix.
