SYNOPSIS
Horse on a Stick (WT) is a story of three girls: 13-year-old Sara, Dilek and Beatrice. Sara and Dilek grew up in Neuperlach, a working-class, migrant neighbourhood in Munich. Expensive hobbies and long journeys are out of reach for them. When Sara suddenly becomes interested in hobby horsing, she secretly travels with her new best friend Beatrice to Finland to take part in the Hobbyhorse World Championships. A touching friendship and coming-of-age story about an adorable sport, about friendship knowing no boundaries, and about ultimately having to stand by who you are. And about the fact that you can always make up for mistakes among friends.
