LOGLINE
Sophie moves from a village to a city and needs to find her place among peers from a posh primary school.
SYNOPSIS
13-year-old Sophie, who grew up in the countryside, moves for a year to her aunt’s apartment in Warsaw and starts her 4th grade in a renowned school with her posh cousin Amelia. The girls have contrasting personalities and to survive the next few months they must learn to cooperate both at home and at school. Sophie faces the judgmental attitude of her peers, while also making new friends and discovering the charms of a big city. Her family support Sophie on a daily basis even though she brings chaos to their formerly well-organised life. The first season ends when Sophie has to decide if she wants to go back to her village or continue her education in Warsaw.

Klara Kowalczyk

Klara Kowalczyk is a medical doctor experienced in working with text. She is a passionate fiction and script writer and an author of a medical blog, several scientific papers, and independent newspaper columns. She has worked as a medical translator and copywriter. In the future, she plans to continue combining her medical career with creative writing.

Kamil Kwieciński
Scriptwriter
Kamil Kwieciński is a graduate of London’s Westminster Film School. He is a winner of major awards at film and theatre festivals, a producer of a winning commercial at the Kodak competition, and finalist of the international commercial contest Papaya Young Creators 2022. He is also an author of screenplays for the series Mały Grand Hotel aired by Canal+.
